about

Visit my website fronzarp.com

Part of my DIY music project of 2012 in which I wrote and created home recordings for a new song every 2 weeks through out the year. Home recording was done on a minimal system of laptop with protools, Shure Beta58, JLM preamps and minimal concern for room acoustics or isolation

lyrics

Take whats yours
I'll take what is left by the door
If that's anything at all
Tiny things that
Build and encircle us
Until I can't see you anymore

We change so we won't hurt anymore
But maybe I still want you
When the crowded shadows fill up the empty room
And whisper to me

Be careful where you walk
There are strangers up ahead
And I cannot understand
How I became that man

Don't be frightened
Of your decision you
Made your decision alone
Don't be scared
If it's broken rebuild it
And bind it like broken bones

We change so we won't hurt anymore
But maybe I still want you
When the crowded shadows fill up the empty room
And whisper to me

Be careful where you walk
There are strangers up ahead
And I cannot understand
How I became that man

You caught me off my guard
With the dangers up ahead
And I cannot understand
How I became this man

The road is long
And gets stranger as it turns
But I cannot understand
How I became this man

We change so we won't hurt anymore
But maybe I still want to
When the crowded shadows fill up the empty room
And whisper to me

about

Fronz Arp Brisbane, Australia

The strange machine which is Fronz Arp grinds like a tattered, angry little hurdy gurdy. With dramatic jaunt and seesawing melodies that have been compared to weird-pop wonders, such as David Bowie and Tom Waits

“...songs full of drama and action, designed to get pulses racing and yet still sounding both intricate and adventurous” Rave Magazine
